As part of the S4 Yoke Upgrade, Sauer System highly recommends replacing any worn out yoke plates.
Sauer System’s safety yoke plate system features a couple important benefits over the original design:
- A three piece design with a separate inner wear plate, outer wear plate, and yoke spacer. If the wear plates become worn, they can replaced individually or flipped over for longer life.
- The safety wear plates feature chamfered edges, eliminating an unnecessary sharp edge. This safety feature comes in to play any time operators or maintenance personnel are working with upper or lower slotter heads.
